In 1977, the spacecraft Voyager was launched into outer space equipped with a golden data disk. In 55 languages, it sent out a message for extraterrestrial ears. This means that, among other things, 90 minutes of music have been drifting through space ever since. On an audio cassette, I recorded 212 minutes of the sounds of Sarajevo – the voices of children, the sounds of the tram, the arguments of people waiting in line for water, the laughter of the military police, the Miljacka River, a cat, pigeons, gunfire in the distance, radio static, water spilling out of a small pot, a crackling fire (I had difficulties trying to record the snow), the applause after a performance in Kamerni Teatar, father‘s snoring, the muezzin, the war siren, my voice… The Red Cross told me they could not accept donations like this.
